Its a Baby!

We can't hold it in any longer!!! We are having a baby Prince! We are beyond thrilled!!! I am exactly 8 weeks along today. Our Due date is September 18, 2012. Our first Doctor visit was today and we were able to see the little gummy bear sized baby! What do you think its going to be? A little boy or a precious little girl!? Either will do for us!
Ben has been so cute and wonderful this whole time. He takes such good care of me and the baby. He makes last minute runs to the store for crackers, peanut butter, carrots, candies, ginger-ale etc. He makes sure that I wake up to crackers and water in bed every morning and even makes me my hot herbal maternity tea to make me start the day out right. He even rubs my back and stands by me every time I run to the bathroom to throw up the wonderful breakfasts and dinners he prepares for me. He is going to make the best DADDY!!! I had no idea Morning Sickness was so awful! Constant nausea is the worst! Luckily today my Dr. prescribed me some medicine that helps with nausea that already seems to help a lot.
I want to meet it already!!! Ahh! 7 more months.

  4. I found your blog through another friend blog...congrats on the baby! Thanks for playing with my little Sam during church on Sunday! Good luck with the morning sickness. The upside is that as long as you are sick you know that you are still pregnant...it's your own personal reminder of the little life growing inside!

  11. YAY!! Love this post! And you're right, Ben is going to be the best Dad! Don't you secretly love being taken care of and realizing your husband is even more amazing than you thought!? Just wait till you see him with the baby, you won't even believe it! Okay this comment is getting mushy! ;) You guys are going to be the most amazing parents and I can't WAIT to see your beautiful little boy or girl. (We're hoping for a girl so her and mine can be long distance BFFS!) Start to feel better soon and stay on top of that medication!!

  14. i noticed in your post you asked whether we thought it was a "little boy" or a "PRECIOUS little girl"[capitalization added by the author of this comment]. you included no endearing adjective with the boy option. so, i'll take it that you'd prefer a girl. if it comes out as i boy, i won't tell him about your hopes. congrats lil sis.

  15. Hey Chels! I guess it's been awhile since i've stalked your blog! Congrats on a baby!!! How exciting. We are having a little boy in May so we aren't too far ahead of ya! Isn't morning sickness awful?? I'm not sure what's worse... being nauseated 24/7 and not being able to throw up or constantly throwing up. Either way it's not fun. At least we get something out of it at the end!! :)
