Merry Christmas

Christmas in Austin has definitely been a blast! On Thursday night, Ben and I decided to go out and see what the city could offer us this season. We first ate at Hut's where we enjoyed the best burgers on the planet and then headed over to see the Christmas tree lights at Zilker Park. Upon arrival we noticed them setting up a concert at the hillside theater. We got there just in time to see Tje Austin and Nakia from "The Voice" perform their FREE Christmas concert in the park! It was beautiful, so fun to snuggle up under the stars, sip some hot chocolate and listen to a great variety of the most classic Christmas songs. It was a moment I wish I could bring with me every Christmas season.

Of course the only video we took was of them performing their only NON Christmas song, but at least everyone enjoys some Beatles.

After a great event we drove around to see the best Christmas lights in town.

Then on Friday night we stayed up late making our Christmas Pancakes to participate in the annual Prince Family Pancake Decorating Contest. You may remember this from Last Year.  And I must brag I came in 3rd place and Ben came in 1st! We had so much fun. The theme this year was "Christmas Songs". I did "Joy to the World" and Ben made "Oh Holy Night". Get it?

On Christmas day we went to church, opened presents, took a long nap, had dinner at a friends house chatted with family, and had a great day!
