Just a few days ago my manager told me that I didn't need to come into work this Saturday because they scheduled me too many days in a row, so with both Saturday and Sunday off Ben and I decided to be spontaneous. We drove up to Flagstaff to get us more in the Christmas spirit! There was a lot of pine trees and snow on the ground! We found a cheap hotel, went to dinner at a place called Charley's that was a old restored mansion, got peppermint bark and other sweets at the local chocolate store, then went to the local community play "The best Christmas Pageant ever", then we went and saw the million lights at Little America, we then stayed up late playing cards so so so fun! I am so glad Ben likes to do the same kind of stuff I do!
Ben keeps telling me he is the artistic one in the family after taking pictures like the one below.... ??
Ben's cute snowman
We then traveled up to the Grand Canyon! It was breathtaking!
Now we are back at home, Ben is studying, I'm blogging, school and work tomorrow. Until next time....
That looks like so much fun. Wonderful snowman! You were so brave going out on that point in the Grand Canyon. And Chelsea, I love the new lipstick! Very cute.
